A Cardiac Stress Test provides important information and indicators about your heart’s health while performing daily activities. This test indicates how well your heart pumps blood, how hard your heart is working, and whether your heart is receiving an adequate amount of blood. <br>

What to expect:

A technician will take your vital signs, including your heart rate and blood pressure.
Electrodes that connect to an EKG machine will be placed on your chest and arms.
You will walk on a treadmill, beginning at an easy pace that will then become more intense.
The test will end after about 10-15 minutes, upon which your vitals will be monitored and checked. Upon completion, you can immediately resume normal activities.
